Software Will Put A New Spin On Learning

My students need pre-algebra and algebra software to review math concepts in the classroom.

This project is fully funded

I teach 8th grade math in a low-income, high need community. My classes consists of students with a variety of individual needs.

My school is committed to finding ways to help our students succeed. When students are able to see instructional content from more than one perspective, research shows that the student is more likely to master the concepts.

The resources I am asking for will enable me to make math more memorable and fun for my math students. I will not have to rely on games that are photocopied from a book to give students practice with skills I have taught. The Algebra and Pre-Algebra CDS will make it possible for the students to accomplish their goals, instead of trying to teach math skills via pencil/paper, which is sometimes very confusing with them. I do not have the funds to provide students with much different learning software and the students do not have the funds to purchase them personally. The Algebra and Pre-Algebra software will be extremely useful because they will be accessible to the students' level of understanding and my students will find them engaging. The software will improve my students understanding and make learning fun.

Your help will help me to keep my students interested and actively involved in the learning process. It is my goal to reach 100% of my students and your help will make me that much closer to reaching this goal!
