Our new school softball team has minimal equipment and much of it is old and used, and while some of the girls have premium equipment purchased by their parents other children cannot afford it. I want the team to be more successful and compete on an even playing field by allowing all the girls to have access to premium equipment in the form of bats, outfielder gloves, and balls for games and training.
The pitcher/outfielder glove, bat, and softball balls can be used by pitchers and outfielders, and the bat by any girl that wants it, and the balls will be used in practice as practice with dead balls which they have isn't very effective and they need new balls.
This equipment will allow all the players to feel equal as they practice and compete.
