Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Elementary school is a fundamental learning period for many students. This is when you learn to read, write, and problem solve. But for many students, jumping straight into the academics at the beginning of the day can be rough for them. That's why these materials will provide students with a soft start to the beginning of their day, allowing them to get their creativity flowing and prepare themselves for a day full of learning.

Students need support in order to have a successful day of learning.

One way to support my students is to use resources to help ease them into a day of learning. Using magnetic tiles, card decks, coloring books and play-doh can help students build and create, which gets their brain juices flowing and ready to focus for the rest of the day.
