This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students need a soft start morning to start the day before jumping into academics. We will use these items to slowly start our mornings. I want my students to have the opportunity to transition to a school environment and build community with their peers. This will help regulate some of my students who struggle with transitioning in the morning.
The donations to this project will offer my students a welcome into the school day that silent work does not.
By having these items for my students to play with, they will be working on lifelong skills daily. These STEM materials will provide my students the chance to develop critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, and logical reasoning. In addition, they will continually work on their sharing with their peers.
