My Project

My students enter our classroom every day ready to learn! One of the most important things we do in order to make this happen is to build a strong classroom community. Just like when we as adults arrive at our job, my students need a chance to settle in and gear up for a busy day of engaging learning. The "soft start" routine will help them do just that!

Starting our day with a soft start will give them an opportunity to get their creative juices flowing while also building and maintaining strong relationships with each other.

Students will have the opportunity to make a choice of which materials they would like to use. Each kit will provide opportunities for them to use their minds to think outside of the regular learning box.
