This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to let you know that our students are interested in learning skills they need to transition to adulthood. We work with them each step of the way providing encouragement and praise. This proposal provides us with specific items that are known to provide the key help they need. One thing I love about our students is the zest they have for all skills that will elevate them to adulthood. They like to take on not only academic tasks but they also like organizational task. The kids love to help the teacher with organization. They will use the hole puncher to keep important notes neat and put away. They will use the pencils to do their work. They will help clean the white boards with the wipes. We will work as one big team!

I know the kids will appreciate the new soft headphones when they do their online math program and when they are allowed to use the Text-to-Speech accommodation on testing.

Add the basic supplies including clip fasteners and pencils and our team will be set for the rest of this year and well into next year. The duct tape will outline boards and be used to place numbers on the desk that coincide with the Chromebooks. Getting new supplies always puts a smile on our faces. We appreciate you so much!
