I work with students on the autism spectrum who struggle with social communication and social-emotional skills. These difficulties can interfere with their ability to form meaningful relationships with others that are necessary to lead successful lives, both academically and personally.
These materials, including a Time Timer, Kids' Positive Affirmation Cards, Sensory Worry Stones, and more, will help my students who struggle socially to better understand how to communicate their feelings and to think positively about themselves.
Visuals can be a wonderful tool to increase understanding for students on the spectrum.
My goal is to provide an environment where students feel safe to fully express themselves in an appropriate manner.
