Socially Distanced Beginning of the Year Classroom
Help me give my students supplies to social distance in the classroom with sit spots, carpet arrows, and carpet tape and equipment for a socially distanced recess, plus other much needed beginning of the year classroom supplies.

My Students
My students come from a rural-area school normally of about 530 kids. This year, we will have 250 face-to-face to start. About 60% of our families are considered low income. In my classroom, despite what might be going on at home, kids love to dive into the world of math and science in a hands-on way. When they are not with me, my teammate will come to them to teach them to love reading and social studies. We are certified in both Elementary Education and Exceptional Student Education (students with special needs). This means I take care of all kinds of kids with wonderful personalities and different needs.
My students are wonderfully diverse in their learning styles and this diversity is what makes them so special.
Some of them love to learn through listening to enthusiastic demonstrations, some love to use their creativity to write, and others love to get their hands on materials that bring their learning to life. As a classroom and grade level, we embrace and love their differences. I strive to give them the freedom to think outside the box and use their talents to further their learning. At our school, every student leads and succeeds!
My Project
With the carpet and painters tape, I will be able to help my students visualize where their desk has to stay to keep them safe. The carpet arrows will help us walk in safe directions, just like they do in grocery stores. The sit spots will assist with socially distanced lines.
With the hula hoops, chalk, and kick ball, my students will be able to have fun in a socially distanced environment.
We will have to get creative this year, so these supplies will definitely help with that.
The rest of the requests for pens, markers, wood craft sticks, folders, ink, and tech equipment will help us get our year started right. These are supplies that are needed to create anchor charts and maintain a safe and organized learning environment.
