My Project

With Early Head Start we are working with children ages 0-3. Most of our children are living in poverty and these materials will give additional hands on experience. learning is mostly done through play. Peer interactions is so important and the use of books and pretend play props with help to promote positive peer interactions.

These materials with give us visuals and hands on experiences as we work on our social/emotional skills.

These skills are lifelong skills and are very important to be introduced at this young age. Our children are at a stage of enjoying pretend play and looking at books. When using their interests it becomes more meaningful and memorable which in turn makes it easier to learn.
