My Project

Exposure to diverse cultures through literature broadens children's horizons, allowing them to appreciate and respect different cultural practices and norms. This understanding can help them navigate a multicultural world with greater confidence and respect. These diverse books will help my students challenge stereotypes and break down biases by providing and showcasing the rich diversity of different cultures, genders, and abilities. This can help children question biases and embrace diversity in all its forms. By reflecting their own cultures and experiences in literature, my students can feel more confident and connected to their learning and develop a stronger sense of belonging.
