Help me give my students this amazing resource to supplement our social studies curriculum. Students will read engaging, grade level texts to supplement their learning about NY Government and History.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Who doesn't love to get mail?
With this project, each student in my class will receive a social studies magazine in the mail weekly!
We will read to learn about NY state government and history. We will engage in print and digital activities that correspond to the Social Studies Weekly texts. We will use the information we learn as a basis for discussing topics that are important to our state's past, present, and future!
I am excited to use this tool for my students to build a knowledge base of civics and responsibility.
