This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach both online and in person classes and my students are extremely diverse but mostly minority students. They are Bronx tough and street smart to say the least. We are having difficulty transitioning to online learning because my students are below socioeconomic average. 100% of my kids get free lunch. Despite that they are eager to learn and are resourceful with all changes.
My Project
At Home learning is the key for this computer. We have a case study on Latin America and need a strong computer with plenty of storage and RAM and that can support a specific software so the students can make a commercial for their Latin American countries. Students will be traveling to and from school with this specific laptop and that is why I wanted it to be super potable and powerful so they can achieve their goals. Every single child will experience this laptop at home and present it in school.
