My Project

I am a Speech Language Pathologist in Queen Creek, AZ. Students suffered during and post-pandemic. As teachers and therapists, we are seeing an increase in students needing social-emotional support and intervention. Students have also been needing extra support to build language skills such as grammar, comprehension, and sequencing.

Please consider helping me purchase books about social skills, emotions, and manners.

Social skills are vital to engaging with teachers, peers, and people in the community. Toys and picture cards with visuals help make speech therapy fun while targeting language acquisition skills.

We are practicing skills such as conversation, anger, sadness, feeling "silly" or out of control, frustration, and fear. Additionally, we are teaching coping strategies to target a variety of emotions. Speech should be fun and hands-on. These materials will help achieve that.
