Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students I work with come from a variety of backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses. The classes I work with serve students with moderate to severe disabilities ranging from Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Opposition Defiant Disorder, Intellectual Disabilities, and Speech and Language Impairment. In order to engage my students I need to have creative lessons that are tied to standards, but also that are motivating. Please help me continue to provide a fun way for students to learn and grow!

My Project

The materials I am requesting will help my students with the advancement of proper social skills while being able to capture their attention in a fun and creative way.

While enjoying fun and exciting activities , students will learn appropriate social rules, communication, and ways to facilitate interactions with others in verbal and nonverbal ways.

The Conversation starter kit, interaction board games, and smart question card game will help my students work on key social skills, such as emotions, sharing, communication building , and consequences of actions while engaging in fun and motivating activities. Please partner with me, by supporting and sharing my project. I can't wait to see my students grow in social communication . Thank you for your support!
