it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love that my students have big personalities and want to be helpful! Over the last year I've noticed my Kindergartners straggling with social emotional skills. These books and resources will help me teach them how to regulate their emotions and processes big feelings. The rug will help us have designated spaces for each child during our literacy lessons. Which is currently a challenge as our rug is too small.
Working with students from low-income neighborhood means they don't always get taught the skills to self-regulate.
I'm looking for support to give Kindergartners tools for emotional regulation.
