This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items I am requesting cover two categories - classroom organization and social-emotional support. Students in my class have high sensory and emotional needs. The resources I have requested would support and reward emotional regulation for my students and provide me with additional organization tools to better support them.

A calm corner is essential in a modern classroom and provides a space for students to regulate their difficult emotions.

My aim is to have a calm corner that provides a safe space with emotional regulation fidgets to help some reactive students in my classroom. I also hope to provide specific students with laminated anchor charts that support their academic and social-emotional learning. This project enables me to be more organized and support the needs in my classroom better.
