Social Emotional Support For Students With Special Needs And Peers.

Help me give my students social emotional books, snacks for hungry students and fidgets for my students with special needs. This will help when they are hungry, dis-regulated or need help expressing themselves.

My Project

My first grade students in one of the poorest school districts in the US are dealing with trauma in addition to having special needs. The whole first grade is impacted socially by the COVID pandemic and having social emotional curriculum books would be super helpful. It would help both the students with special needs and their classmates with their emotions and self regulation. I would like to have the snacks and fidgets to help hungry or hyperactive students self-regulate.
