This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students come from unstable environments and could really benefit from additional support in managing the emotions that result from this.

Building social emotional coping skills will help these young children throughout their life.

I am hoping to add some additional social emotional books and materials to supplement the current curriculum to better support my students to learn how to be their very best.

If I am able to teach my second graders these essential skills now, they will be able to take their learning with them throughout their education and further.
