My Project

The students that I work with has special needs with individualized instructions. I have to create a classroom with a wide range of learning tools to meet the individual needs of my students in a pre-k special needs classroom. I am using items to create a social emotional support area and sensory boxes for sensory play. I also purchased items such as puzzles, alphabet and number games and toys, and fine motor toys to help scaffold their learning through play.

My goals is to create an environment that supports the children learning, interests, and needs so that they can learn and develop the skills needed to be in a general education classroom.

My students are unique, bright, and loving. They have already developed so much this year. I would love to add more learning tools to our class to support them in continuing their growth.
