This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach special education for students grades 3-5 who require a higher teacher:student ratio. In my class, I am supported by two paraprofessionals to teach academics and help students build independence and confidence.

In this bundle, I have chosen items that students can use to get out excess energy, take time to de-escalate from a stressful situation, and learn to regulate their emotions.

Many of my students need to be in constant motion to feel comfortable and a dedicated space to decompress. These items will go in my regulation station.
