This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

COVID-19 had a significant impact on elementary students across the country: school closures, disrupted students regular routines. This change in the school norm affected their social interactions, emotional well being, and learning outcomes. The Pandemic was devastating for many.

The items I have requested in my project will directly be used with students to support their learning and engagement.

I have requested social emotional learning books, feelings games, hands on materials for self regulation, and some learning games etc.

I will use these items in the classroom, individually, and in small counseling groups. Thank you for your consideration in funding my project.
