This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students will be in Kindergarten next year and will be entering an environment that is brand new to them! Due to COVID-19, many students have not spent much time away from their caregivers and it is my job to make sure that they feel welcomed and that our classroom is their second home. These materials will help me cater to all of their individual learning needs as well as provided many resources that I can use to help teach the importance of diversity, inclusion and equity in the classroom. These materials will also provided sensory opportunities for students throughout the school day to utilize when needed.
