Social-Emotional Materials for My Special Education Classroom

Help me give my students tools to help them self-regulate and support their social-emotional learning.

My Project

These materials will help my students learn about their emotions and better self-regulate their emotions. Many of my students are on the autism spectrum and enjoy deep pressure.

These materials will be beneficial to my students in so many ways.

The Art3d 6-Tile Sensory Room Tile Multi-Color Exercise Mat Liquid Encased Floor Playmat gives a tactile and visual self-regulating experience. The Bouncy Band Medium Comfy Peapod Sensory Chair will give my students a place to calm their bodies and minds. The Time Timers will allow them a visual way to see how much time they have left for their sensory breaks and better understand time.

Many of the toys (LEGO, blocks, etc.) will help my students with self-regulation. The books will be a resource to help them learn about their emotions and their responses. Thank you for your support in helping my students to become better self-regulators and social-emotional learners!
