My Project

I first want to say a massive thank you to all the donors who made our calming corner happen! Now that we have our amazing space in the classroom to help students self-regulate I would love to stock it with books! These book are all about feelings, social skills, and celebrating what makes all of us different and unique! These books will be stocked in the bookshelf in our calming corner for the students to explore while they are taking a social or emotional break.

Social-emotional skills are absolutely critical for students to succeed in school.

These materials will be an excellent addition to the academic-behavioral intervention room! What is the academic-behavioral intervention classroom? We are an amazing class that is in our first year. I serve students kindergarten through fourth grade. My students have a variety of social and emotional needs along with a need for academic support. Our goal is to minimize interruptions to the student's learning and provide a safe, comforting place for them.
