This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The books, both activity based and picture based, will enhance the social emotional learning of my elementary students. I am looking to build a resource library that will allow students to effectively and positively understand and communicate about their feelings.

Younger children can have a hard time expressing themselves and how they are feeling; my goal is to provide them with the best possible resources to learn these skills.

The best way for my students to become more emotionally aware within themselves and others is to practice the skills they read about in real world situations. This will help them to become stronger and more confident in their abilities.
