Help me give my students access to social emotional learning tools. In second grade, students may have a difficult time expressing their emotions. These tools will help my students express and talk about their big emotions.

My Project
Students in grades K-2 often have a difficult time expressing and communicating their emotions. Due to this inability to communicate or understand these emotions, these emotions come out in big actions, that can be disrupting in a classroom environment.
These social emotional tools will help students in my classroom access their emotions and learn how to communicate them to me and other adults, as well as to their peers.
Utilizing these tools with allow students to access the academic curriculum in the classroom without disruption.
I will introduce and use these tools with my students during our social emotional learning time 2X per week. Then, once students are comfortable, they will be able to use these tools whenever they are feeling a big emotion that they are unsure how to communicate.
