This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My goal for this project is to have more materials accessible for the students during therapy sessions. Monroe Clark Middle Schools Social Work Office has great resources and activites at the moment but I believe that we still lack some important materials. These tools listed will promote social emotional learning and allow students to reflect on their behavior and using positive coping skills that they can follow for the rest of their lives. My students are special because they all have very unique experiences and need the extra push from a trusted adult to get through middle school.
