Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have an amazing and unique role of working with a multitude of students of special education, with varying needs and ability. This population includes individuals with Learning Disabilities, Emotional Disturbance, ADHD, Autism, and more. By receiving these resources my students will be able to further develop their social emotional learning through multiple modalities, which include curriculum, activity books, learning games and more. My student are all unique and respond to different levels of accommodation and support. Having sensory items and tools help to regulate our students, while toys and games help to motivate and encourage our students to succeed. The overarching theme and use of Social Emotional Learning tools and resources helps our students to develop positive relationships and positive culture within the classroom.
