I am requesting materials that will promote social emotional learning through books and a writing center in classrooms.
I want to promote social emotional intelligence through reading and writing.
The materials for a writing/art center will allow students to process what they are learning. The take home kits will reinforce what we talk about at school and provide parents materials to discuss hard topics with their kids.
Some kids need to talk about hard topics, but some like to read about it to make connections while others need to draw or write about what they are experiencing or processing. This project allows for all kids to connect to the big ideas.
