This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Reading books that emphasis social emotional learning to students is laying the important Foundation for Lifelong Learning: The skills and understanding gained through shared reading contribute to the overall development of students. By fostering a positive attitude towards learning and emotional intelligence early on, teachers lay the important foundation for a lifetime of academic success and a lifetime of well-rounded personal growth.

In essence, teachers reading to students extends beyond the immediate context of the story, creating a dynamic learning environment that nurtures various aspects of cognitive, social, and emotional development.
