it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Hello my name is Ms. Pale and I am a third year Pk-8th grade School Social Worker for CPS. My students and I are in need of expanding our social emotional library and adding some sensory friendly items to our safe space office. My students love to read books with me and with that I need to make sure they feel represented by the illustrations. Our small but mighty office is a place that holds space for big feelings so some of the sensory items will help give my students a space to de-escalate.
Receiving this donation would really give me a step up in being able to provide more for my students.
I hope that my students get to enjoy the expansion of our social emotional library through our weekly lessons. The sensory items will be used for my students who seek that sensory stimulation when they need a break.
