I have moved into a new position at my school.

I will be the Learning Resource Center teacher. I will have students who require Specially Designed Instruction through the support of an Individualized Education Plan and will partner with their general education teachers and families to provide support across these settings.

As we embark on a new school year, my hope is to create an inclusive environment and build a classroom community that inspires students to strive to do their best to be successful and to become lifelong learners, even though we are engaging in remote learning.

My Project

Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) refers to the development of self-awareness, self-control, self-regulation, social skills, and responsible decision-making, all of which are essential for school and life successes.

This kit will give my students thought-provoking lessons, discussions, and activities to help them identify emotions and feelings.

My students will learn how to handle overwhelming feelings, develop a positive self-image, and learn how to improve social and emotional skills need to show empathy, compassion, and kindness.
