My Project
These books help support our Social Emotional Learning Program at school! We do not have all of the books that we need in order to successfully teach key concepts across multiple grade levels. We hope kids have access to more age appropriate and engaging books that help them learn, but also have fun reading!
Our students and staff will use these during library and during guidance lessons.
Students can also take them home to borrow and share with their families. Teachers can use these books to support important life skills, such as coping skills, building relationships, and self awareness.
Our district goal this year is kindness. We are designing lessons and activities that align with our kindness goal, such as creating kindness ambassadors, art projects that promote diversity and inclusion, reading and discussing books, and a flower planting project about personal growth.
