Social-Emotional Learning Books for Students with Autism

Help me give my students social-emotional learning books to help manage emotions, impulse control, self-regulation, kindness, and understanding feelings like loneliness and sadness, supporting emotional awareness and coping skills for students with autism.

My Project

Students with autism often face unique challenges when it comes to social-emotional learning. To help these students better navigate their emotions, relationships, and behavior, I’m requesting a set of carefully selected books that focus on building essential social-emotional skills. These books cover a wide range of topics, including managing anger, recognizing emotions, understanding kindness, and making good choices.

By incorporating these engaging, child-friendly books into our classroom, we will create an environment where students can explore their feelings, build resilience, and develop critical self-regulation skills.

With stories that help children connect emotionally and learn essential life skills, these resources will support both individual growth and the development of positive, lasting social behaviors.
