Social-Emotional Learning Books for a Diverse Population

My Project

The students of LHES are avid readers and all grade levels (K-6), will check out titles from our picture book collection. Additionally, our teachers find a lot of value in using books that teach Social Emotional Learning (SEL) to guide their students to respectful behaviors.

I believe that the students we engage with today are the citizens of our future communities - this project will help guide them in their early years.

The books have been specifically chosen with the intention of engaging our students with SEL, characters that authentically reflect the diversity of our students, and a bit of silliness.
