My Students

My students are first graders in Carlsbad, California. We are a multicultural classroom with so much to share and learn from each other.

In my first grade classroom we continually explore, inquire, communicate, collaborate, experiment, practice, create and grow.

I am so proud to be a part of their foundation and help inspire these great little minds! They are all so very excited to learn each day and give their best in our classroom community, as well as in the strong school wide community we have built.

My Project

I am asking for a variety of resources to help my students learning in their homes. I will be using the mobile whiteboard to keep our virtual meetings exciting and engaging as students work with me from our homes. These magnetic whiteboard tools will help me to reach my students with daily learning and support that I will provide.

My students need to see me planning and writing out my thinking as we explore grade level topics and social emotional concepts.

It is vital that I model for the students a visual process of thinking and writing for our most important concepts. My students will benefit from my visual aides along with my coaching as we bring the classroom to our homes.
