This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We have a class full of energetic, caring, and eager students! We are a special education preschool class so every child in our classroom has an Individualized Education Program (IEP). For many of our students, this is their first time being in a school setting.

We have a wide variety of abilities in our classroom and we are working hard to have materials to meet all of our students abilities and allow room for growth!

All of our students are working on academic goals as well as some behavioral aspects of being in a classroom.

My Project

We are a special education preschool classroom that serves students aged 3-5. Our students are very sweet, caring, smart, and very eager to learn! These students come to class daily ready to learn and ready to advance!

Many of our students with disabilities struggle to understand what is socially acceptable in different situations so we utilize these books to help them learn.

Most of our students have social and/or behavior goals on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP) so these books allow us to focus on reading while also working on the social and behavior goals.
