This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of the students that I support have seen delays in personal and social emotional growth from COVID and quarantine. This project incorporates a wide range of tools to develop and expand social and emotional growth as well as reading and language comprehension skills. This school is in an area with limited technology access and so many of the students are needing additional social and language supports as they were in lock down and COVID during much of their formative years of interpersonal growth and development. Many of the games and books focus on helping students with learning and language difficulties improve self regulation and self advocacy skills as well as the social and emotional growth.
