Social Emotional Accommodations for Alternative High School Drop-In Centers

Help me give my students tangible resources to help with anxiety, attentional/focus issues, and social skills! I work for an online alternative high school. We are in need of SEL supplies for our drop-in centers.

My Project

I work for an online alternative high school. A high percentage of our students have mental health issues, past/current trauma, are parents, and/or lack basic needs. For most of them, school has never been a safe space for them. We have drop-in centers that our students come to for testing, tutoring, a quiet place to work, and social/club activities.

In order to continue cultivating our drop-in centers as safe spaces, we are in need of materials that will help students focus, decrease their anxiety, increase their social skills, and overall have access to a wide-range of supplies to meet their social/emotional needs so that they can focus on their academics.

The requested materials will supply 6 of our drop-in centers with a basket of items for students to choose from in the way that best fits their needs.
