My Students
This year starts my second year of teaching and my students are great. My second grade class is full of different levels of learners and I’ve had the opportunity to get to know them through the first week of this year. Our district is a Title I campus and there are many underprivileged students. We have a tight knit community and our students have the best staff looking after them. This year we are working on leadership skills and giving our students a “vision” for their learning. I’m beyond blessed to be a part of this school and get to know my wonderful students.
My Project
This project will help me deliver safe and engaging lessons during social distancing guidelines. The ability to move my teaching easel around the room while teaching a lesson will help me keep students engaged. My hope is to make my lessons more exciting by moving around and teaching from different areas since students are confined to their desks most of the day.
