Social Distance On Stage During Group Plays

Help me give my students tables and benches so that we can spread the students out on the stage and create more groups. This will help us be able to socially distance the students while doing group activities.

My Students

I teach drama students and this money will give us the chance to give them more opportunities for social skill growth and awareness. Through the pandemic these students have not had the chance for social growth and their social maturity is lacking. They have a harder time working in groups appropriately and handling the frustrations of others then they have before.

These supplies will allow me to create more projects and help the students with the social skills necessary for the future.

We have so many students that are in need of social and collaborative support. They are craving attention and need help to understand others social and emotional cues. This will greatly help me support this need.

My Project

We are creating opportunities for more students to participate in our in class and after school plays. The additional furniture will allow us to set up different areas around the stage for scenes to happen. It will help full fill social-emotional needs by allowing people to come together and participate in our shows while they are also socially distancing allowing the students to feel more comfortable participating in our groups shows. I know they are nervous to work with others people and I am hoping this helps give them piece of mind!
