Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items in this project are in the areas of social and emotional learning. Magnets, books and more are for direct instruction, as well as items to be able to put what they learn into practice with their peers!

Goals for this project will be to bolster my social/emotional learning block with more manipulatives and provide the students with the tools and toys they need to engage with one another for cooperative play.

The students who will benefit from this project struggle with behavior dysregulation. In order to access the general education curriculum, these students require a small structured setting with a high staff-to-student ratio, and social-emotional learning embedded throughout the day.
