My Students

I support students with social and emotional needs. I help teach students the skills they need to manage their emotions and behaviors. I help kids with anxiety, anger, depression, self-esteem, self-awareness, self-management, impulse control, social skills, etc.

My students work with me to gain the skills they need to be successful in all areas of their lives.

My students often need a lot of support at school due to their extra emotional burdens and lack of specific skills. I hope, with my project, to be able to provide my students with what they need to be happy and comfortable at school.

My Project

Students come to school each day not being able to effectively learn in their classrooms due to a lack of skills or emotional needs that cause barriers to their learning. This includes anxiety, depression, anger, self-management, PTSD, and self-esteem. I work with students that are struggling with their mental health and emotions and provide them with tools they can use to help them in their classrooms. For my project, I have asked for different interactive curriculums and activities to help make social and emotional learning fun and interactive so students will be able to pick up the skills needed to be successful in their classrooms a lot easier and faster. Students will use this curriculum in small groups or individually to learn the skills needed for social and emotional success.
