No student wants to learn in a stale environment. I’m working hard to keep our middle school students engaged with a classroom transformation and a fun real-life experience. I want to make every effort to get students excited about learning mathematics. A soccer theme transformation, which will include the tablecloths, backdrop for pictures, soccer pens, and paper goods, will instantly pique the students’ interest. The students will be using their problem-solving skills to solve real-life mathematical problems that are covered in the 7th grade math curriculum and align with the soccer theme. The table clothes with be used to cover the classroom desks and tables the students will be using as workstations. Students will earn reward bracelets when exhibiting our four school character traits: community, leadership, collaboration, and perseverance.
