This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our middle school boys’ and girls’ soccer teams are in need of new practice pinnies and an additional practice ball. The current pinnies are worn out from years of use — many are stretched, faded, or have lost their shape, making it difficult to distinguish between teams during drills. While some of our pinnies are reversible, the colors have faded so much that they no longer provide the contrast needed for effective practice. Having clear, vibrant pinnies is essential for running organized scrimmages and helping players quickly identify teammates and opponents.

Additionally, we are in need of a new soccer ball for practices.

One of our current balls has lost its shape and does not hold air well, which affects the quality of our drills and scrimmages. A reliable, well-inflated ball is key to helping players develop proper skills and confidence on the field.

New practice equipment would directly support both the boys’ and girls’ teams, helping us create a better, safer, and more productive practice environment.
