My Project
At BMS, we believe that sports are more than just games—they're opportunities to build community, confidence, and resilience. As a Title I school, many of our scholar-athletes face financial barriers to participating in organized sports with the appropriate equipment. We currently lack soccer training materials that support skill-building, teamwork, and accessible participation. These soccer materials will help us create dynamic and flexible practice stations, support individual and team drills, and make the most of our limited field space.
Every item donated will directly benefit Berea Middle scholars—giving them not just better equipment, but also the message that they matter.
These items will be used daily during practices and after-school sessions to enable high-quality, small-group instruction and skill development. The additional training tools will allow our coaches to create flexible and dynamic practice stations that promote teamwork, agility, and game readiness, all while maximizing limited outdoor space.
Specifically, we are seeking support to purchase two small-sided soccer nets, one target net, one rebounder net, one 4-way training goal, a heavy-duty ball bag, three athlete book bags, and a pack of heavy-duty zip ties to secure equipment in place.
This equipment will have a significant impact on our program by promoting safe, organized practices and by showing scholars that their growth, development, and participation matter. By providing the tools necessary for success, we are not only building a stronger team but also reinforcing our school's mission to support the whole child.
