This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project is to fund the purchase of 2 pop-up soccer goals and 6 soccer balls. My school doesn't have a lot of physical equipments that every class can use. I teach amazing first graders this year. My students will enjoy PE classes with these equipment.
My school is an urban school with under-represented groups of students.
Most students can't afford after school activities like sports and arts.
My goals with these soccer goals and balls are to teach about soccer rules and fun soccer games and take my students to the yard three times a week.
