Soccer For Inner City Students

My students need essential practice items to be able to improve their skills. The portable soccer goals will be utilized when we are unable to have transportation to our soccer field.

My Students

My student-athletes are some of the nicest, hardworking students I've met. These student-athletes are committed to being the best they can on the field and in the classroom.

Our school is in an inner city, where last year we had 21 different countries represented on our team.

Many of my student-athletes first language was not English, but regardless of the language barrier they often become a large family due to their love of soccer. Unfortunately many of our students can not afford simple equipment needed to participate on the team.

My Project

My student-athletes all absolutely love to play soccer. Over the past couple of years their level of play has improved tremendously. In order for us to continue to compete at a high level we need to have the proper equipment.

Unfortunately since our school is located in an inner city we do not have a soccer field readily available to us at our school.

By donating to this project we will be able to use the portable goals and training equipment on a grassy section outside of our school instead of traveling 15 minutes on a bus every day. We will utilize all of the equipment on a regular basis, especially the shin guards for those student-athletes who can not afford them. We are in dire need of basic soccer items such as balls and training equipment. These items will allow us to train and develop our skills to the greatest of our abilities!
