This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember what it was like to have a passion for sports while in school?

Our students belong to a fairly new indoor high school in California and are establishing a soccer program.

Their school highly encourages athleticism as well as great academics. These young ladies enjoy being on the field and it is a great motivator for them academically.

My Project

I am requesting 1 pack of soccer balls, 1 bench for traveling games and 2 sets of cones for training. With these materials, these young ladies will be able to participate in extra curricular activities that they are passionate about. We will be able to teach them new skills as well as giving them the opportunity to learn from others. The students have had balls passed down for the past 3 years; they deserve to get new balls that they do not have the money to buy.
