it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love soccer. Every day they choose to play soccer at recess. They come to school in their soccer jerseys and talk about soccer any chance they get! The only problem is, I don't have soccer books in my classroom library.
I want students to find joy in reading, and having access to soccer books will engage them in reading and help with their accuracy and comprehension.
It's also a way for me to connect with my students and maybe learn a thing or two about soccer. With your donation, you won't only be helping a student read, you will be putting books in their hands and hopefully helping them find the joy of reading.
